I’ve tried every which way but can’t get it to work. 100% disappointed in the 200 cell and the popper.

This is very sturdy. I can't wait to check it out this spring. I'm always happy with my purchase at bootstrap farmer.

    Plug Popper Fail

It was a complete waste of money. The pegs would need to be at least twice their diameter to work. As it is, all they do is punch a hole in the soil. The pegs are also too small to use to make holes for seed. There are no built in guides so the cell flat has to be put on the pegs by feel. Perhaps I'm supposed to put the plug popper in a tray to help guide the cell flat, but I don't use trays, so that's out.

Not only useful for popping plugs…

I found that these plug poppers can also be used to create divots in the soil of the cell trays to sow seeds in. Rather than poking 72 1/4” holes for seeds one-by-one I use the plug popper to create 72 holes all at once. The key is to line up the plug popper, poke it into the soil at the proper depth for your seeds, then gently move it around to widen the holes. I think this feature should be listed in the product description as it could be another selling point for the product. It saved me so much time from creating divots individually.

    Plug popping perfection!!!

Where has this been all my life? We love this handy dandy contraption. So easy to use and no damage to your plugs. Sadly our first one was damaged in shipping, but I couldn't have been more impressed with their customer service. Quick, easy, polite, no problems. We had our replacement in a few days.
