Please note: These inserts are designed to fit eight per 1020 tray. They are not a precise fit in our 1010 trays, which are slightly smaller. For best results, nest trays of the same depth.

How do the 5s5 trays which are 2.25" tall fit the shallow Microgreen trays which are only 1¼" deep? Or are the 5x5 trays not intended to go with the shallow trays?
We recommend shallow trays without holes for bottom watering all of our smaller insert trays, including the 5x5's!

If we wanted to provide these at say a farmers market planted and for purchase, do you have a recommendation for a tray to use under a single 5x5 that the customer could also purchase?
5X5 trays are the smallest trays we manufacture. This is also the most common product that is used in your type of situation.

Can you run these through the dishwasher? I have your heavy duty 1020 trays and humidity domes, but I have always used the light disposable trays inside so I don't have to clean them. I like to use these for seed starting for my flower + veggie market garden, so less heavy use than microgreen production.
You can run the 1020 trays through the dishwasher. They should be placed on the top rack with the heat cycle turned off if possible. Our shallow 2.5" domes would be ok in the dishwasher but our 6.5" tall ones I would advice against it.

Am I correct to assume four 2.5 x 2.5 seed starter pots would fit nicely in this 5x5 growing tray? Looking to use humidity domes on smaller than a 1020 scale, and this seemed like a good solution as long as the 2.5 x 2.5 pots will fit correctly.
The 2.5 inch pots are designed to fit in the 1020 trays. I don't believe you will get 4 of the 2.5" pots in a 5x5 tray.
