The easiest and cleanest way to make holes in the landscape fabric is to burn them with a propane torch.

Yes it is a single layer of woven fabric. The green lines are woven in so they appear on both sides.

We are using this white landscape fabric for our walkways in our high tunnel next to our beds with cut flowers. So far, we really like the durability of the fabric, and found it easy to install and cut to size with the printed lines. I love knowing that we are not adding to the heat issue! We are still noticing a lot of **** growth underneath, but it does suppress them overall and we just hand **** around the edges where they reach around the cloth. We will see how it does throughout the growing season. We are thankful that we can get a great product shipped FREE to us all while supporting a family-owned business from the US. Win-win!

Nice and thick. Water does not go threw well but that’s ok the weeds don’t come threw as well.
