Protect your plants and structures with this UV-treated, white shade cloth available in 6', 12, 20', 32', and 42' widths. This 30 percent premium knitted shade cloth is popular in areas that experience high heat because it resists breaking down and losing flexibility even under the most extreme rays.
You will want the cloth to cover from hip to hip on your hoop house or cover loosely over the desired area that needs protection. Install clips to secure the shade cloth every 24-36". Shade cloth can also be installed using lock channel and spring wire. Check out this video tutorial on how to add shade cloth to a high tunnel greenhouse.
Here are some quick conversions based on Bootstrap Farmer Greenhouse kits -

Ridiculous shipping cost outside the US for shade cloth.
Hi Dan, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand your concerns about the shipping expenses for international orders. While we strive to offer the best shipping rates possible, shipping costs are set by factors beyond our control. However, we are continually working to find more cost-effective shipping solutions for our international customers. Some of our international customers have found success using freight forwarders, which you might consider in the future. As a small, family-owned business, every review is valuable to us and our community. We genuinely hope that once you receive and install your shade cloth, you will find it meets your expectations and reconsider your 1-star review. Additionally, if you are interested in our products and are located in Canada, we do have several Canadian retailers that carry a selection of our items. You can find more information on our International Retailers page. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything you need! Warmly, Rikki Chadwick MANAGER, CUSTOMER SUPPORT BOOTSTRAPFARMER.COM
I love this product. Company gave great service. Thank you.
I am above the 40th parallel and so purchased the 30% shade cloth but it has done little to nothing for helping keep our greenhouse from jumping up over 85 degrees despite windows open windows on a 37/40 degree day. Fried some of our seedlings. I reached out but was only given the explanation the cloth is meant to lessen the harshness of the rays - yet it still fried some of our crop. Seems very expensive for what it is. I’m not sure I would purchase from them again. Be sure to consider your specific circumstances before ordering and don’t just trust the recommendations.
Great product, works great to help keep plants from suffering as much in our extreme heat! Product arrived fast and as described on website. Thank you for all your help :)
