Protect your plants and structures with this UV-treated, white knitted shade cloth available in 6', 12, 20', 32', and 42' widths. This premium shade cloth is popular in areas that experience high heat because it resists breaking down and losing flexibility even under the most extreme rays.
You will want the cloth to cover from hip to hip on your hoop house or cover loosely over the desired area that needs protection. Install clips to secure the shade cloth every 24-36". Shade cloth can also be installed using lock channel and spring wire. Check out this video tutorial on how to add shade cloth to a high tunnel greenhouse.

Is this as good as the regular 50% white for not raveling when cut?
It will not unravel when cut, just like the regular knitted shade cloth.
My review of your product is excellent. In the Okanagan valley of British Columbia, we have very intense hot sunny days with temps into the high 30s- low 40s C (which is high 90s- to mid 100s F). But the highest was 45 C or 113 F in 2022! Maybe ok for wine grapes but too hot and sunny for blueberries raspberries and black berries. Last year I ordered 50% white shade cloth but even that allowed too much sun and heat into the blueberry plants as they still suffered sun burn to the leaves in June of this year, so this July I used two layers of 50% shade cloth as if the first layer filters out 50% of the sun light, and the second filtered out 50% of the remaining rays of the sun, that leaves only 25 % of the original sunlight into the leaves and they are now growing well without any more leaf sun burn! Like wise my raspberries in full sun dry up and shrivel like raspberry “ prunes” but unlike prunes from plums the shrunken dried up raspberries are useless. So now I have one layer ( 50% shade cloth) over them and the later fruiting black berries are spared the searing heat of the sun. ps: the winters here are moderately cold with temps -20s to -30 C air temp!
I had no idea how to hang the shade cloth over and existing garden with plants 6 feet tall. The whole installation experience was surprisingly easy. The cloth clips work really well. The clip can handle a lot of pressure, being pulled in one direction or the other. The affect of the shade cloth was immediate and noticeable. I do plan to purchase much more of this product.
Excellent, fast shipping.
They were delivered very fast but I have not used them yet I have not even taken them out of the box
In the last two weeks of installing this shade cloth over our garden, we've had crazy storms with high wind & no signs of wear! So glad we went with Bootstrap Farmer!
